Somebody wrote me about a month ago asking about the configs I'd used for the perfmon2 kernel I built back in March. I've finally copied off all the data from that laptop, so I can post the kernel config file itself, as well as the .debs I built (vanilla 2.6.20-0 kernel, no patches, no Ubuntu patches, nothing). I never got around to building the -restricted drivers, which made the faculty member in question sort of sad because his wireless stopped working if he needed the perfmon stuff, but I'll be re-visiting that system and upgrading it to Ubuntu 7.04 (with its own 2.6.20 kernel) and then he'll want wireless + perfmon2, so I'll post again when I get that done. Meantime, just email me if the config file would be useful, or post a comment here.
